I’m going to say this as clearly as I can. Please stop.
The BBS is not about you or your pet topic. The fact that your comments are coming off a misogynistic is not about what you intended, it’s about what others think about what you wrote.
The community has flagged your posts. I agree with their assessment that your comments, and indeed you, were becoming the focus of the topic, instead of the Boing Boing post. I know you like to believe that only a small number of members of the community are targeting you, but you have represented nearly 50% of the flags thrown in the last few days. You are warring with far more people than you realize here.
The community as a whole has had enough. I have had enough. Your self-centered focus and sea-lioning has become toxic to this community, and I am asking you to stop. You are battling an existing community and are literally becoming that guy who derails the entire cocktail party because they won’t stop talking about themselves and their pet topics despite everyone trying to not-so-politely get them to stop.
I’m asking you to stop, now, before one of the Authors, who have far, far less patience than I do about disruption to the BBS, ejects you permanently.
