The lack of handle-squeezing and the pleading beeps from the pump is telling us he rarely pumps gas. Or maybe this is the umpteenth take and there’s no more room for gas?

the way it’d work for any normal production would be: you go pay the gas station for their time, and have them shut off the pump. then you can do whatever the heck you want and no gas will come out, and no machine will make any noise.
