It’s true, 99% of her time on this one was spent simply figuring out how to create that weird parabola shape and specific consistency and didn’t get into really elaborate ‘gourmet’ flavoring. Personally I more appreciate seeing the unexpected techniques they have to invent or reverse-engineer, like a food version of Adam Savage figuring out how famous movie props are made. The mesh deep-frying mold made out of a wire strainer was brilliant.
