“Based on actual events”. Good to know!
Upon reflection, this movie is really a posthumous victory for bin Laden, isn’t it?
The last 16 years have been.
Conservapedia is satire, right?
ACTING!!!
Don’t watch more than 10 seconds:
Another good one:
Oh fuck this film so much.
I read 9/11 as 9 1/2 Weeks, and I was excited to see it for a minute.
Well at least Charlie Sheen looks like he’s trying to act.
I guess he’s either off his meds or back on them.
Wow, that list includes 1984 and goes out of its way to declare it a “conservative” film. I can’t believe I’m still amazed at the mental acrobatics these assholes are capable of.
From the same site, their definition of “Conservative”:
Conservative
A conservative is someone who rises above his personal self-interest and promotes moral and economic values beneficial to all.
I laughed a bit, before realizing that may very well be the level of delusion we’re dealing with.
Ed Wood: Although it does glorify cross-dressing and the homosexual agenda. It still is pro-capitalism and the film also glorifies the American dream. As despite the obstacles Wood faces, he still continues doing what he loves in making movies.
That list just hurts my head.
Charlie and the Great Crashed Elevator.
It’s also still in extended support phase, because, well, a lot of system administrators have reasons for being conservative with their upgrade cycles. Which is pretty much the only cause I support being conservative with.
Disclosure: I work at Red Hat.
How did so many let this happen?
Of course Conservapedia is satire.
The problem is that the folks who run Conservapedia don’t know that.
A lot of the movies on that list probably shouldn’t be there.
A Man for all Seasons is conservative? Adam’s Rib? I didn’t get past the A’s.
I suppose they justify labeling 1984 as a conservative story because a person named Winston is fighting back against the English Socialist Party (Ingsoc). That’s a very shallow reading of the narrative.
Just accept the fact that the Blues Brothers is a conservative movie. I mean, they’re on a mission from God aren’t they?
Did they really dub plane crash sound effects over actual 9/11 footage?
I’ve seen United 93. It was an interesting film. It made a good case for Shakycam, which is why I’ve only seen it once. I don’t remember it being a Trumpian movie.
“Based on Actual Events” = “We made most of this shit up.”
