I think you may be unfairly discounting the possibility of time travel.
If it had been 50% smaller, they might have more easily recognized it was a sex toy.

Iâm just surprised that the ditch they were digging is 80m deep. That seems rather excessive⌠And Iâd have expected that something 80m deep for moving water around would be called something like a channel, rather than âditchâ although translation being what it is, maybe the word commonly translated as âditchâ could mean anything from a dry crickbed to the raging Amazon and everything in-between. I donât know.
Probably translation issues. âHillâ and âmountainâ can both be represented by the same character which can cause similar confusions.
