If he wasn’t imperfect, he wouldn’t be King Cyrus, would he?

He’s too much of a moron to know what judges to pick, that’s all mitch, I think it was NY Times that did an article about it, its fuckin awful. The general public focused on the held up Supreme Court Justice when it was just the tip of the iceberg.

And then there’s that organization that hosts the National Prayer Breakfast. . . . .I dont even know where to go with this, they are so entrenched.

You did see my /s, yeah? I’m aware. The point is because he’s giving them what they want, they don’t care. Morals aren’t for leaders like him (or them), it’s for keeping the rest of us in line.

Maybe that’s where Impossible Burger meat comes from - the cow created by the outrage of “One Million Moms.”

Tangent: Now I’m reminded of the BK commercial my next-door neighbor in the 70s aunt was in. I wonder if I could find it on YouTube…

Damn! Someone has WAY too much time on their hands. Does anyone really give a rat’s ass about this? Too funny. Like we don’t have enough to worry about.

Uh… literacy and educational opportunities have gone up since the Boomers’ time (the generation that grew up on 50’s broadcast media). The population that is currently young already has a better vocabulary and women have better opportunities too. Do you think that old TV shows and propaganda are solid historical documentaries or something? Climate change and economic issues aside a lot of things are much much better than they were back in the days of the Hays Code.

I’ve yet to see any advert with harsh or offensive language, including this one.
I’m struggling to see how a word like ‘damned’ is harsh or offensive. It’s a word that’s incredibly commonplace in English, and I can think of a hell of a lot more in common, everyday use that would give people like these a real fit of the vapours!
My mental image of people who bitch and whine about such inconsequential things like this is someone sitting looking at a screen, with a face screwed up in distaste like a bulldog chewing a wasp, mouth all pursed up like a poodles bottom.
