I realize that blood isn’t the typical route of transmission; but given how much spatter and aerosolized droplets you can get from a bullet wound this seems like an…incautious…method of showing seriousness about quarantine procedure.

Not so messy as the past reported executions by antiaircraft gun or mortar bombardment; but considerably less sanitary than past reported executions by flamethrower.

Just be aware how many of these stories about North Korea are fake. It’s a closed society where little reliable information reaches the rest of the world, and the vacuum is filled by rumors or intentional desinformation.

All reports of executions in North Korea should be treated with caution. People who were reportedly executed have a habit of turning up alive.

On an extremely regular basis.

South Korean or American media are not reliable sources regarding the DPRK.

The US runs a well-oiled propaganda machine, no matter how regarded its president is.

But we listen to them anyway because the DPRK is an even less reliable source regarding the DPRK.

I know this seems ridiculous and unbelievable,
but then again I wouldn’t really be suprised were this true because I’ve heard many unbelievable things coming from NK

President North Korea: “Close all the ports!”

Was that a typo? Couldnt be sure.

I used to work with an ultra-progressive guy who insisted that North Korea was a Socialist paradise and the only reason we never heard anything about this was that the evil capitalist countries did their best to cover up how perfect a system they had. He was also a writer for rabble.ca, so take from that what you will.

So no happy ending then…

I think that’s not really progressive thinking.

The economy of the DPRK is about the same size of the eonomy of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. From this perspective the country is certainly punching above its weight.

Good point

Well, thats ONE way to deal with that…

I’ve read, although I don’t know, that the South Korean intelligence agency report that was put out of the North Korean general being executed by anti-aircraft gun was total malarkey.

I have no idea, but it wouldn’t surprise me either way.

And, since this thread appears to be heading that way, I’ll repeat:

So has Dennis Rodman declared their stylist or their fermented food habits [are these rotted pine needles still good?], or is it just the FBI handing out prophylactic 8-balls [‘ask again’–>‘apply directly to the forehead’] that’s the trouble? Is it just a generic nationalist kept plugged into the potato batteries and taking quarantine cues from the mainland as if Indonesia ‘being seen’ but perforce not at Aspen.

I don’t mean whether one thinks of THIS president as good or bad.
I mean across time it doesn’t matter who was in, the US has proven to be a propaganda factory. Both for internal consumption and external.
