And if they never release the film (which by the way, seems to be what they’re saying) then torrenting it is still unethical because…? Or is the logic here:

1. Don’t make a theatrical release.
2. Don’t make any other kind of authorized release.
3. ???
4. Profit.

Wanna bet this is a calculated move, sacrificing a few bucks of losses on a postponed release of a crappy movie (plus rescreening losses on the Team America one) and moving them into a public relations “losses” (where the public/political impact will have higher benefit for them than the financial-only loss), of course properly inflated by the “who could’ve seen it” vs “who actually wanted to see it” fuzz factor?
There can be some other game played here. The studios are doing something, and we don’t know what yet.
