That’s some fine engineering there. The crumple zones absorbed the impact perfectly and rebounded without any evidence of the collision.
while the complete middle-part of the book is squeezed into barely five minutes in dune84. I read the book and was extremly dissapointed from the lynch version. it did grow on me over the years, though, but not because its dune. and I hate the ending, its everything paul/muad’dib is absolutly not.
I must admit i never read the book, i watched the scifi series after it, but found it like watching a red alert cut scene it just was not enough, i found it lacking, I could not even tell you when i first saw dune, in the way i can remember the 1st time i saw star trek in the cinema as a kid, but i more remember that for running around the place for some reason.
Is that efficient or what!
