I hope they all get food poisoning. For everyone else’s sake I don’t want them to get a communicable illness but food poisoning to me would fit the bill.
Having experienced food poisoning, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
Its not that they were keeping people on lockdown, the criticism is on the how they were doing it. China was using cell location data, drones, etc to monitor and hunt out people that were out when they shouldnt’ve been.
That said i do think that various states here in the US should be doing more to ensure public safety (i’m looking at you Florida spring breakers).

I was thinking specifically about this post when I made that statement.
There are no new cases in Wuhan, and, creepy dystopian shit aside, it’s because they isolated everyone whether they wanted to or not, rather than simply ask everyone nicely to voluntarily do things that most people are unfamiliar and uncomfortable with.
We still have an unsettling amount of surveillance domestically, as I’m certain many BB users are well aware of, it’s just that a) most people are still unaware of the extent, b) a lot of it is privately operated with the purpose to sell us crap, and c) it’s designed to be hidden, and as such can’t be used for overall societal benefit in this situation, otherwise it would no longer remain hidden.
