You’re right. It looks like Florida law allows him to serve an unlimited total number of terms as long as he sits out one cycle after each two consecutive terms. Not unlike how Jerry Brown got elected Governor of California twice in the 1970s and then twice again in the 2010s. (Although changes made to the law in California would prevent any future governors from serving more than two terms total.) So until they change the law the people of Florida may have to contend with the possibility of his return for many years to come. :frowning:

He shouldn’t even be governor now because he’s running for president. The laws were changed so he could do this.
