DeSantis' fragile ego on display as he complains about media's treatment of his wife

Fixed that for you. Mrs. DeSantis has a really, really long row to hoe before she even comes close to dressing as did Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (and she was rightfully famous for her good taste and fashion sense). Even to my admittedly non-professional eyes, Mrs. De’ (or is that “Duh?”) well deserves her recent social media sobriquet of “walmart Melania.”

She’s probably a horrible person for a lot of reasons unrelated to the way she dresses.

Agreed. But when I saw the picture of her in the Barbie-like prom dress and the wrinkled, badly-fitting opera gloves… well.

It’s going to be interesting watching him, Trump & Christie attacking each other mercilessly.

no. no they should not. she and her family are the ideas and money behind the junior fascist from Dunedin. she’ll get all the well deserved negative press that can be heaped upon the femme fasciste.

We know that Mrs. Nazi said “yes” to a Nazi at least once in her life. The amount of slack we should cut her would fit on the head of a pin, and still would leave enough room for an entire chorus line of angels to dance.

Whooooooooosh!

There’s his fragile ego… but also his problem understanding the world around him. Perhaps in this case he was worried that a WWII vet would smell “fascist” on him and reflexively take him out.

(excerpt) At a recent meet-and-greet in Iowa, the flailing Florida governor was alerted there was a WW II veteran in attendance. Instead of approaching the wartime hero, DeSantis gave a simple nod, and went back to take a photo with somebody else.

That really pisses me off. One of the things that the Republicans do that anger actual patriots is their lack of respect for veterans. That guy put his life on the line to fight fascism…and now this is how far we’ve fallen.

A full read is recommended, and – yes – Lady Macbeth comes up:

(excerpt) He wouldn’t be where he is without her. He might not get to where he wants to go because of her. “He’s a leader who makes political decisions with the assistance of his wife, who was elected by nobody, who’s blindly ambitious,” said a former DeSantis administration staffer. “And she sees ghosts in every corner.” “She’s more paranoid than he is,” said a second staffer. “He’s a vindictive motherfucker. She’s twice that,” said a higher-up on one of his campaigns. “She’s the scorekeeper.”
