Well, in his defense, when I think of the phrase “a boot stamping on a human face, forever” Devin Nunes face IS the face that comes to mind.
be-bop-a-lula, wang-dang-doodle, a-wop-bop-a-lu-bop (has one been omitted please?)
I was thinking last week that Nunes could himself get charged with obstruction of justice, since he’s basically working with the White House to crush the investigation.
Let’s take him at his word: Trump never met his foreign policy advisor. I mean, that sounds legit, coming from Team Numbnuts, but I’m not too sure if that’s the image of the kind of competence they really want to be conveying.
Nunes is a very busy man you know, drafting all those crucial nation-saving laws and such. You can’t expect him to fact check every single tiny little detail in each of his claims!

Hitler was a lame art-student failure. Sleep well tonight!
Only after China invades and partitions the country.
Sure. But he was also a war vet and extraordinarily successful head of state who rallied his nation and adjacent nations to a jingoistic fervor that very nearly accomplished its nefarious aims. Please understand that none of this is said in praise of him (it makes me sick just having to type that), but his competence as a monster makes trump seem like an illiterate, petty pick-pocket and rube with nothing resembling a strategy or coherent narrative (because he is one).
Now, even bone-headed aspirational dictators can ascend to power and wreak havoc a la Duterte. I keep hearing our fearless* congressional reps saying that he is leading us into a “constitutional crisis” while doing absolutely nothing about it. Guess what? This is a constitutional crisis!
*fearless as in not fearless at all
