I don’t mean her lack of experience just lack of a track record, which is a slight difference but an important one. Don’t take my comments as a subtle implication that i think she’s incompetent, or worse a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I am just holding expectations until i see results, that however doesn’t temper my excitement or my need to see change in politics… and all the recent voting results shows does give me hope.

Yup, my issues with her are political. At the invitation of Matthew Jardine I joined him in a meeting with her staff to urge her not to extend arms sales to the Indonesian military under General Suharto. She basically flipped us off and co-sponsored the bill to do so. She’s for gun control, but only where the guns are within arm’s reach, so to speak. She milked the murder of Milk for her entire career. Example from her run for Governor (watch to the end for her Death Penalty stance in the Reagan/Bush era):

Let’s hope so.
I view her as part of the politically-ambitious-shitty-prosecutor to politician pipeline, and that’s her choice. I will not vote for her, ever*. Rewarding that shit needs to end, no matter the side of the aisle.
(*if she decides to retire, work as a public defender for 10 years and then come back, I could change my mind)

She depends on the myth that talent is in short supply. It isn’t. There are other talented people who could probably do better than her, if given a shot. She’s had her shot. Time to let someone else carry the banner.
