In the words of John Oliver, “We got 'em!”

Oh good, they can impeach him now. Finally we can stop waiting for him to do something wrong.

Harassment Based on Nation of Origin

I can see some MAGA idiot using the argument “Well their nation of origin in the USA, so it can’t be harassment.”

No. Because nothing seems to matter anymore.

This will be his downfall…I guess we can forget about the kidnapping and rape and placing foreign agents in our government and all the other illegal shit he’s done. /s

The reality is…YES…this is a open/shut case of it. The issues are (as I see it)… Who is going to legally go after him (is there an HR for elected federal positions) and secondly, what judge/court will find against him at this point?

All it would do is make him into a victim.

They’d probably try to dodge it by citing the separation of powers, which would be a laugh considering how the Senate and House leadership have been responding lately in regard to the statements and actions of this racist, sexist, all-around horrible executive branch. Going on to the third branch, the SCOTUS would readily uphold such a disingenuous argument (Kavanaugh would additionally insist the the Congresswomen apologise to Biff; Thomas might finally be stirred enough to mumble “Amen”).

Anyone ever seen racist bones?
Just because this phrase just popped up on the news. Asking for a chiropractor.

I guess that means people are allowed to use mild ethnic slurs?

Maybe… just spit-balling here, the " totally broken and crime infested places from which they came" are the United States of America.

of course it violates the federal law.
what is worse is that it normalizes this behavior and enables employers who think this is now OK if THEY do it as well.

this is now apparently the American Dream; to say what you want and do what you want with no consequences or accountability.

I’m still holding out hope for something to naturally befall him. It’s obvious that stupid shit like “the rule of law” has no effect. He still walks up things. Maybe we will get to see if he can ignore the law of gravity.

Right. Unless you want to say everyone deserves health care as a human right. Or that kids shouldn’t be locked in cages. Or that (and this one’s only for POC, mostly, but sometimes others) there might be anything wrong with how ‘Murica is going. :frowning:

Could be the only cry for help trump could manage.

He’s already crying. Might as well give him something to cry about.

Couldn’t the government get slapped with a gigantic class-action lawsuit over this?

I mean, he very obviously is suffering from some kind of dementia. And it’s clearly getting worse. And it runs in his family. This isn’t just fabrication.

It’s only a matter of tine before he forgets that he’s reading off a teleprompter and starts asking why he’s there and who these people are.

I like this angle. It doesn’t seem like much of a stretch to say that Trump’s constant harassment directed toward other government employees and institutions constitute a hostile workplace under the EEOC.

But, of course, who will actually do anything about it? Not like the DOJ is interested in any of the illegal shit that the Executive branch is doing.
