What is it with people who can only look at their phone even though they are talking to someone behind/beside them? Maybe if you looked the guy square in the eye and asked your question you might have a better shot at getting an answer?

“If only President Trump knew how his most loyal and dedicated supporters were treated by his staff.”

Yeah, this guy still thinks Trump is wonderful. He thinks it’s the staff that’s the problem. He’ll never get it.

Just give Trump your vote and GTFO.

There are the delusional MAGA fans who perceive and accept the higher placement of the movement’s elites and leaders, and, on that basis, that superiority, that necessary material separation from the hoi polloi fandom, urges them to reverently bow and happily remove themselves from the space inhabited by the objects of their veneration, even though they may want to be near them, perchance to actually – OMG! – touch them.

Then there’s the even more delusional Dylan Quattrucci who got everything wrong.

Maybe it’s because they know how loyal and important he is, so they don’t want him catching Covid from Alina Habba.

For a normal person, avoiding court for being sick and then being caught at a party would be a sign she was faking, but it’s entirely believable that Habba could be highly contagious, sick as a dog, but felt like she wanted to travel and go to a party, and so not give a rat’s ass that she’s infecting colleagues, supporters and people in her travel path.

I love that he did nothing wrong (apart from being a MAGAt in the first place.) It’s entirely her fault for lying to the judge about being sick, but he gets the blame.

Of course this could work out quite well for the idiot. It seems that he’s now free of the Trumpy spell he was under, and is perhaps a bit more motivated to understand what a piece of shit he’d been supporting this entire time.

Those bar complaints and associated cost will surely be covered by Drumpf, rite?

“If only comrade Stalin knew what the NKVD are doing…” as so many said as they were dragged off to be shot in the Great Purge.

IIRC there were Germans who were appalled at the behaviour of the SS and other thugs, and wishing that they could figure out a way to tell that nice Mr. Hitler so he could get things sorted out.

Nope. That’s just not how an abusive relationship works. It would take a lot more than this, if anything at all could ever break the spell.

Even their idealized fantasy version of Trump sounds incredibly incompetent if he doesn’t have any idea what his own staff is up to.

The Supreme Ruler can never do wrong. He is wise and benevolent but, being yet still only human, can be lead astray by evil advisers.

To Quote Bugs Bunny, “What a Maroon!” pathetic but he’ll never get it. He went in way too deep and even if he did figure something out, he’ll be out of air before he can ever reach the surface let alone swim back to solid reality. Maybe next lifecycle

It’s the attention economy. We’re no longer communicating with others to try and establish a dialogue, we are having monologues with our followers. Note I’m using the royal “we” here, as in “societal trend,” not us personally.

100% correct. He’ll chalk it up to bad advisors and will go on worshiping the man, never realizing Trump can’t give one shit about a nobody like him. This is basically celebrity worship at its worst because the kid’s worshiping a celebrity with dictatorial dreams and fascist nightmares.

Hey, dude, will you keep it down? I’m trying to monologue at you here!
