Perfect! He also has film industry experience and knowledge of physical plant design and maintenance.
Yes. Of course. In order to salvage your disastrous business idea, you try to convince fans that Han Solo would want to, against all prior character developments, relax on a cruise ship?
I love that mug…
Han and Leia going aboard the cruise liner to carry out a heist could be fun.
The idea of such a ship existing for a long time in the Star Wars universe is interesting.
The execution is rather off. It honestly sounds like a really weird decision for them to pick that sort of honeymoon. And stuffing the Halcyon into what seems like every other piece coming out gets very old, very quickly.
There are many things that Disney releases that “could be”, but are not fun (for given values of fun).
They are many decades too late for a Star Wars / Love Boat cross over episode…
I know a fair few Star Wars/Disney fans who spend massive amounts of money to visit the House of Mouse on a regular basis, and they are into cosplay and other immersive role playing. And not one has expressed an iota of interest in this awkward, overpriced, underwhelming attraction that does not make you feel like you are in a Star Wars movie or in the Star Wars universe.
Oh, and yes, Light sabers can be expensive. But they are tangible, conveniently sized representations of the Star Wars universe. Much more affordable than the “immersive experience” that does not hit the mark.
