That one shirt with the '55 on it (for 1955, the year Disneyland opened) hits one of my pet peeves: is has a backwards apostrophe thanks to the “smart quotes” feature of WYSIWYG software mistaking a leading apostrophe as a left single quote. Since smart quotes didn’t exist in the 1950s nor in the 1970s, this “retro” clothing is just an anachronism.

Apparently this trend has now worked its way up from “young brands” to “corporate juggernauts that make decisions very slowly”
It’s nice but a little reminiscent of the German flag’s black red and gold, not that there’s anything wrong with that…
