Donald Trump mostly retweets white supremacists

He’s the free-jazz/stream-of-conciousness-spoken-word-poetry of evil.

I think it’s more:
Trump supporters: “Trump’s not a racist, you know, and neither are we. But those white supremacist guys do make some really good points…” Even the KKK doesn’t admit to being racist these days.

Improvisational fascism?

He’s not retweeting to condemn them, he’s RT because he approves of the sentiments expressed. If the majority of what you’re agreeing with is from white supremacists, that says something, even if you’re not explicitly endorsing the people who sent the tweets (at that point you’re implicitly endorsing them).

I think it’s a bit simplistic and unfair to grant the folks mentioned in this article the “conservative” label. They’re reactionary, plain and simple.

Sounds like a perfect definition of “conservative” to me.

Why end a serious article about Trump and his idiocy with a silly poke at his looks? It undermines the serious message. Both are fair game, but please keep them separate.

That presumes that there’s anyone with integrity and gravitas left in the “conservative” movement to define the label. Near as I can tell, the Racist Right has been on a sustained campaign to purge the party of those deemed “not conservative enough.” This noxious stew of racism and misogyny is being stirred by the same bunch of opportunistic ego-maniacs - Brietbarf, Red State, Chucky Johnson - who also claim to be the true crusaders of conservatism, and who also fan the flames of :crocodile::video_game:.

As covered here in 2014:

The mainstream media finally discovered the Internet’s latest subculture of hostile, cynical, easily-led youngsters. Matt Binder on the narcissists, grifters and creeps arriving in its wake.

Trump is the Big Daddy of creepy narcissistic grifters and the trolley people have welcomed him as their trolley God. And they’ve been the leading voice of the Republican party.

Many conservatives vote Democrat in the USA anyway.

That’s not far from the “disruption vote” wherein the people vote for the most outlandish candidate in the pack to send a message to (insert govt bureaucracy> that they’ve been told isn’t serving their interests.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work, you can’t slap the silly out of someone while using a dildo.

edit: … in the above scenario it is the slapper not the slappee that is holding the dildo although if the slappee is also holding or using a dildo this still applies. It stands to reason that you also can’t slap the silly out of someone masturbating in the bed of a pickuptruck, no matter where you put your commas.

Well, they have come a long way lately.

Cheetos are rather distasteful, ever read the ingredients? Eww…

Or this lot

The OMRLP have had their moments, like at the Bootle by-elections in 1990 when they got more votes than the Social Democratic party which lead to the SDP being dissolved a few days later. The OMRLP also got more votes than the Liberal party at the second Bootle by-election in 1990, but that party still exists.

To be fair, most of the Liberal party and the SDP had merged in 1989 to form the Liberal Democrats, and the non-merged parties were minor parties by that point.

Next time they might get more votes than the Lib Dems!

our satirical party has a seat in the European parliament and was (partly) responsible for a change of the German constitution

Surely they just look good in Brown.
