Happens all the time. Education can be quite trade-specific, craftmanshiplike, and may not entail any sort of focus on critical dissection of information. In fact, it seems certain highly educated people even get on a high horse and think themselves experts on everything, because they are experts on one thing.
Even a training in science seems not to impart any kind of skepticism on some people. And yet skepticism is the base of it all.
I think itās just a simple election marketing policy. Never say āNo, thatās fucked up.ā. He doesnāt have to outright promise horrible right-wing madness, he just never says no when its brought up.
This isnāt about Republican candidates, this is about mental illness. You have sick people in this country and throughout the world. I have to say, no matter what you do, youāre gonna have problems. Because you have sick people. They happen to be intelligent. And, you know, they can be sick as hell and theyāre geniuses in a certain way. They are going to be able to break the system.
I just think we wouldnāt be having this many problems if we had more Republican candidates.
In the trump pinata discussion I was found myself saying that Trump made more sense than Carson because of his record of angering the Mexican American community. But even as I was saying it, I knew that Carson is just as odious on immigration. Itās just that you have to actually read through stories to find that out. With Trump itās always in the headline. In fact, most of what I know about Carsonās absurd opinions are from final paragraphs of Trump articles where they say something like, āRubio was careful not to disagree with Trump, while Carson disagreed and said, .ā
I never understood why the people who insist on having access to assault rifles to keep the governmentās jack-booted thugs at bay seem to be the same people who proudly display āsupport our troopsā bumper stickers and take pride in having the most bloated military the world has ever seen. I mean, make up your mind already.
