Donald Trump performs Mahna Mahna

You can’t blame him. The message is being manipulated by the Clinton campaign.

That’s what I heard anyway.

I think her policies will be dictated by the highest bidder. She will continue to fill important government positions by their level of Clinton loyalty or the amount that they have paid, rather than actual experience or qualifications. She will likely exponentially increase the surveillance state. I don’t know what the gulf states expect in return for the huge amounts of money that they have paid her, but I doubt that it will be in the best interests of the US. I think we are going to long for the days of corruption on the scale of Halliburton and the like. At least they had some infrastructure, and got some of the contracted work done. When Clinton donors get all of the contracts, everything will likely turn out like the Haitian recovery did. She has always despised the military, so that will lead to some issues.
I think she wants to be president because she has an unquenchable quest for power. Trump, I think, wants the prestige of the job. If he were elected, he would hate the actual duties, but get off on being called “Mr. President”. Either of them would be better suited to serving as governor of Alabama in the 60s than President of the US today.
We were better off with Nixon. And Nixon was terrible.
These are my personal opinions, and I hope I am wrong.

In other words you’re just speculating without any facts, but you imply that Clinton is actually worse than Trump. After all you ignore the possibility of corruption under Trump.

Thank you for that non-answer.

Most of us can only speculate on what either of them would actually do as President, or what the real-world results would be. I don’t think that Trump lacks potential for corruption, but do feel that he would be less effective implementing it. He does not have all those people in place to implement any sort of large-scale corruption. Even his own party only supports him as a last resort.
Lets discuss this again in a year, and see If I am completely wrong. I hope I am.

Apparently Trump is now claiming that Hilary Clinton is on drugs. Projecting much? sniff

The best response I can think of is, “Sure! I will if you will, Donald.” And then she gets to stand back and grin while Trump backpedals like mad.

Eta: remove autocorrect spacing in backpedal. The corrected spelling of autocorrect.

Actually, although filmed in Sweden, Sweden: Heaven and Hell was really an Italian film. Thanks to films like I am Curious: Yellow, Sweden was considered somewhat of a go-to place for cinematic naughtiness around that time.

I suppose reading this might also help.

Just watched it. Wonderful.
I wonder if it would get him votes because of funny.
:frowning:

If your intent was to show that you won’t answer the question I asked then, yes, it does help.

You asked, and I responded with some of the things that I think Clinton plans to do. My response was dictated by what I know of her past behavior, and newer information released about her and her campaign. I followed up with a WSJ article about issues raised by wikileaks that support my view.
I am pretty sure that I answered the question. I at least added the caveat that I hope I am wrong. If you want to disagree with my predictions about what “Clinton plans to do that will be so terrible” , that is fine. We all get our own opinions. You asked for mine, and I gave it. Why do you keep insisting that I am refusing to answer?

Because I asked about specific policies and you responded with a vague response about possible future corruption. The WSJ article is about Clinton’s history, not proposals.

No one’s denying your right to have an opinion, even when your opinions aren’t based on facts. You think someone whose proposals negatively target minorities and women is preferable. You’re welcome to that opinion.

I do not think any reasonable person could predict with any accuracy what specific policies HRC will propose or enact. Which was not what you asked me… If your goal is to just antagonize anyone who looks like a Trump supporter, I am the wrong person.
I don’t think I ever said that Trump was preferable. I have stated repeatedly that I would rather vote for a dead cat than either of the main candidates.

My exact question was, What do you think Clinton plans to do that will be so terrible? Please don’t say that’s not what I asked when it’s exactly what I asked.
