If you really want the bees to calm down and listen when you talk plant lavender and marjoram. The bees get stoned out of their tiny hymenopteran minds, and calm right down. No joke.

We get them in New England. I’m in Maine and find the little pots on flower stems sometimes. Bee balm flowers, especially.

They do a lot of ass-wiggling, to indicate distance apparently. You might find some vigorous twerking will impress them.
