Seriously…Michael Bay literally ruins everything, he is utterly the worst in Hollywood and turns whatever he touches into some gross monstrosity.

I was kind of confused about the explosion - it’s a tractor trailer that runs on diesel, which is notoriously hard to ignite and doesn’t rapidly combust unless it’s aerosolized. Thought maybe there was a gas vehicle that got rear-ended, but reading through the description it states that this was a single vehicle incident - (the truck veered off the right shoulder and struck a guard rail, (presumably rupturing one of the fuel tanks)). Further down someone points out what seems to be the likely explanation - that the burning fuel caused one of the tires to explode, (or maybe brake lines, but I’m thinking tire). Those things bursting are no joke - even when not covered in burning fuel.

Did it hit a bridge? Maybe they need to raise the bridge. Or lower the road. Or one of those water curtains which would also put out the flame. Or…
