OMG

This is just a projection, but the Minus 74 Seats here is the Liberal Democratic Party, while the Plus 63 Seats is the Constitutional Democratic Party.

If this projection comes to pass, then we’re in store for a new Prime Minister.

Trump: Holds rally at Madison Square Garden where a bunch of angry people use dehumanizing terms for people they think are undesirable and pledge blind loyalty to him

In 1939, 20,000 Americans held a pro-Nazi rally in New York’s Madison Square Garden — an event largely forgotten from American history.

A NIGHT AT THE GARDEN, made entirely from archival fragments filmed that night, transports audiences into this disturbing gathering and shines a light on the enduring power of demagoguery and antisemitism.

Directed and edited by Marshall Curry and produced by Field of Vision, the film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Short. It screened at the Sundance Film Festival, New York Film Festival, and was released theatrically around the country.

He is referring to the pollworkers who put up with this insane shit, right? No, of course he isn’t. His party’s whole shtick is “we can do all the insane, offensive shit we want and you have to follow the rules.” The sooner the whole MAGAt farce becomes a footnote in history, the better.

Just filled out my ballot, most of it was easy.

The nonpartisan stuff is a pain, I had two seek out social media posts, local newspaper interviews, etc…

I was forced to circle some republicans for local Township board positions.

Normally I wouldn’t vote for them if they’re running unopposed but we have an entire board that was primaried out. That group is running a write in campaign.

Because of that nonsense I couldn’t vote straight ticket.

If I don’t choose the unopposed republicans there’s a chance the people we kicked out get back in.

And I don’t care about the whole impartial judge nonsense, they should have to say which party they support.

A few of them I could see who appointed them originally so that helped.

And school boards… Don’t get me started on those people. I did find the two democrats though.

I’ve found my ultra-local Democratic organization helpful for the non-partisan positions. It is city-level. Gives me at least a place to start. They usually make a point of listing all their endorsements, which is great, because some of the members pin down the candidates on issues. I should probably just join myself
There was a new law for electing people to the zoning board. I had no idea who to vote for and I won’t go on Facebook. It was such a non-issue I couldn’t find any info. But the local party org put hangers on everyone’s door. I’m pretty sure this is what got their choices elected too.

There are 1.1 million people with Puerto Rican heritage in the NY metropolitan area. All of whom (of age) are US citizens and can vote in the Presidential election.

Nice job asshole.
