Not literally all of his businesses failed, and almost none of them cost him any of his money. Hell, there’s a certain skill in losing $917 million of someone else’s money and getting to claim it as a loss on your taxes.

Christ, what an asshole. This whole story continues to make me sad. I do still legitimately believe that Musk takes an active role in the operation of his companies and the developments they produce. That said I think the guy has driven himself off a cliff and is in free fall. There is a bottom coming up fast and the question is how much damage does he do to his companies and the good work they do and the good people who work there when he hits.
Basically I think the guy needs to be forced into a 6 month social media sabbatical along with a complete break from his duties at all of his companies. The man needs a break because he is acting like a raging asshole and I am not willing to entertain the notion that he has some grand scheme to drive down the TESLA stock price to make a load of money.
I fail to see that anything “good” for two-burgers is actually good in the larger sense.

Musk is the kind of socialist that donates $50,000 to a pac dedicated to helping republicans retain control of the house of representatives, one has to assume so they can continue to pursue their only real policy aim of shoveling money into the pockets of super rich people like Musk.
