I don’t want to downplay the danger they pose (on the contrary) but it always strikes me how stupid these terrorists are. Not only are they being played for chumps by the republicans and swallowing the story hook line and sinker that other people just put out to cynically enrich themselves, they also come out with plans like this:
“Grab the fuckin’ Governor. Just grab the b**ch. Because at that point, we do that, dude—it’s over.”
What did they think would happen after their horrible act except an outpouring of support for the state democrats and a lifetime of either a manhunt or a jail sentence for the perpetrators?

Yeah, it probably would. I just can’t quite grasp the American hangup about Iran (or Cuba for that matter). It seems so visceral for many people although both are beautiful countries and everyone I’ve ever met from either of them was great.
