I guess that is one way to get the president to read the whole thing.

Yertle is holding ACB hostage to prevent any kind of deal on the stimulus. That must mean that he thinks Trump has no chance at all because this will undoubtedly have a negative effect on the market, right? I guess we can hope that the Whitehouse is convinced it needs the stimulus more than it needs to confirm ACB.

If there is no stimulus plan it will have a negative effect on the market - they’re already operating as if one will happen.

Perhaps they think of reporters (the ones they’re willing to give interviews to) as fellow propagandists. Of course Leslie Stahl isn’t going to look inside the book, she’s a pro, she knows it’s just a prop.

I cannot even begin to fathom how such people form what passes for thoughts, ideas and/or plans…

They cannot imagine someone actually opening a book. I mean, what kind d of low-life looks at books!

the washington examiner claims they were given a pdf of the contents

which shows its 512 pages contain 13 executive orders and 11 other pieces of healthcare legislation enacted under Trump.

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said: “This book contains all of the executive orders and legislation President Trump has signed, which have brought down healthcare premiums and drug costs…"

well, i know my premiums are about $100 more a month than they were four years ago, so it must be true. or i guess they’ve been using my tax money to print useless books for photo ops, and doing nothing else at all

That was always just a catchphrase, nothing more.

According to Jimbopedia, "In a June 23, 2004, interview on CNN show Larry King Live, while discussing reasons why he would not run for political office, Ron Reagan stated “I’m an atheist. … I can’t be elected to anything because polls all say that people won’t elect an atheist.”

There’s also the circumstance that he has seen politics (and politicians) up close at least since his dad was elected governor when he was 9.

He is politically active, though.

ETA: missing word.

Update: Rudy says he was just tucking in his shirt.

Me, I always lie down on a bed to tuck in my shirt. Case closed. I’m totally persuaded.

This is so obnoxious. First, they don’t share the pdf so it’s just a bad source claiming to have proof of a 512 page pdf (when the book is clearly thousands of pages) that was sent to them after the fact with copies of healthcare legislation and yet another promise of “upcoming” healthcare plans. Even if the Washington Examiner was worth listening to as is, that still means most of that book was, in fact, blank.

The split in right-wing media on this between (a) Rudy is a single guy who was just getting ready to lay some pipe, there’s nothing wrong with that and it’s revenge porn to tape him, and (b) Rudy was just tucking in his shirt and was about to suggest they read the bible together before getting her enrolled in college, is a hell of a thing to watch.
