FYI John Bolton just said on UK news, in an interview, that he wanted Trump to be denied a second term. He believed the damage he had done was repairable but given a second term it would be irreparable. He would be disappointed on election night either way. He wished there was a true conservative republican running and he was going to write in the name of the conservative republican when he voted.

I’d put good odds on them being adjourned but remaining technically “in session” through pro forma sessions every 3 days. It’s sort of standard operating procedure at this point, and why Obama was really never able to make recess appointments: because Congress never actually goes on recess anymore.
But I’m sure the Republican party is just bursting with people who will play nice with Biden.
