Invoices were altered so when the party paid them, the money went to the hackers instead of the vendors, Hitt said.
The hard part wasn’t the hack, but making the money disappear without a trail. An inside job wouldn’t be a shock.

Well, that sucks. I did actually have hope for these things to hold off the worst of it until a vaccine was ready. Shit, back to the drawing board. (Odds they still get the EUA? I would say very very good, no? “Effectiveness? We don’t need no stinking effectiveness!”)

i refuse to drive traffic towards his twitter because he’s an insufferable asshole but i offer a small quote–

edited to add-- the editor had demanded he verify information in two paragraphs making unverified assertions regarding the contents of the guiliani laptop and removed the passages when greenwald refused to do so, basically arguing that he didn’t have to because he was glenn fucking greenwald goddamit!
