If team trump tries selling something like “mail in votes don’t count at all”, I will definitely be planning to sit outside the White House until he leaves. I can’t imagine the tens of millions of people will just ignore being disenfranchised.

They wanted to know if we had any bullet-proof vests, since the reporter covering events in the crucial swing state of Michigan – birthplace of the US militia movement – wanted to prepare for any possible outcome. And that included rightwing paramilitaries protesting the electoral result. A bullet-proof vest to cover elections in the US? Really? Yes, really.

When I lived in DC, often I’d be walking around and suddenly lose all the bars on my cell phone when a diplomatic or other convoy would drive nearby.
I’m fine with them building this wall around the “people’s house,” if only we could surround it with scramblers or whatever to basically cut off their communications. I don’t think he’d last long without Twitter…
