Jeez, buddy, learn to read the room…
one of the more bizarre self-owns i’ve seen in, well easily the last 6 hours. be fair, things move fast these days . . .
at a minimum it was either the most creative tr^ll^^g of a crowd of trump supporters ever or it was a massive misunderstanding of killing in the name of
I hope like hell it was the former…
Sadly, I strongly suspect it was in fact the latter. Those lyrics are not even that tough to understand, but there we have it.
Maybe “some of those that work forces, are the same that burn crosses”, or “those who die, are justified, for wearing the badge, they’re the chosen whites” lyrics were just a bit too symbolic and abstract for them to understand.

This may be me hitting a low point in my own despair. But it occurred to me that it could be neither. They could simply be proudly embracing themselves as the oppressors of the lyrics and openly appropriating the song as a celebration of themselves as white supremacists. A lot of Rage Against the Machine fans have recently demonstrated that they are not only clueless about the meaning of the songs’ lyrics, they also never paused to consider the meaning of the band’s name.

Listening to Mary Trump’s interview on MSNBC; the difference in how she articulates herself compared to the rest of that wretched family is just staggering.
It’s difficult to believe she’s biologically related…
It’s like breaking the news to a longtime Rocky Horror Picture Show fan that the movie has queer overtones.
Somehow I don’t feel very confident that Biden winning is going to bring about much cultural change in the near future…
Dude… you have got to STOP doom scrolling on IG.
It isn’t healthy.
Haters are gonna hate; that’s what they do… don’t feed them and just be aware of their bullshit, but do not immerse yourself in it.
Remember, a lot of folks ain’t about to live through this winter, due to their own stubborn stupidity.
My goal for 2020 hasn’t changed, regardless of the election:
Wait, what?
[Clutches pearls.]
Biden’s immediate responsibility is to restore some semblance of sanity to the Executive Branch.
Changing the culture is our responsibility.
This response is even better:
