🍊🍊🍊🤡🤡 Even More Trumpian Events 🤡🤡🍊🍊🍊 (Part 1)

So it turns out the RNC speaker who supports racially profiling her own son also wants to go back to the “Head of Household” voting model, because in a “Godly household” women should shut the hell up and let the men take care of voting.

On the eve of the 19th Amendment’s centennial, no less.

What a fine human being she seems like.

Shouldn’t she have her husband speak for her at the convention?

I noticed that she apparently decided to go blonde at some point between when she started gaining public notice as a racist, misogynist anti-choice activist earlier this year and when she was speaking at the RNC yesterday. I wonder if she’s auditioning for something.

(Even the Asian women on that network are blonde FFS)

Perfection. I wish there was a button beyond Like.

Aren’t they always auditioning, looking for that next big opportunity?

And while I hate to sound like the horrible people she’s clearly trying to impress; going blonde alone won’t be enough to make the cut- she’s going to need some weight loss and plastic surgery as well before she fits comfortably in that particular cliched ‘Fox box.’

They like ‘their women’ blonde, pretty, dumb & skinny…

Sarah Silverman did a great sketch on this back in 2018. Worth watching the whole bit.

I watched it when it first came out; spot on analysis and the short circuit at the end was EVERYTHING.

Q: “What happens when I’m not young anymore?”
A: “Be afraid.”

You’re right - I totally forgot to include age as a qualifier. Poor Abby’s chances of making the team are looking even less likely…

You are wrong. It’s always the Jews. It’s never only the Jews, true. From qanon downwards, everyone who hates someone hates the Jews as well. Just ask the demented orange fascist.

i dont know why he’d wear it (maybe because he thinks of the presidency like a royal family and that he’s royalty now) , but he did. again, if you look at the comments of the thing you posted, people figured it out: Im not trying to be a jerk or defend these people. but I think its doesnt help us to fall for obviously disprovable fake stuff when these guys literally are breaking the law on TV, intentionally separating immigrant families, sending anonymous military after protesters, and a million other bad things they are actually doing. Tacitly supporting Qanon is also one of those things but not by wearing a pin in this photo.

I think you’ve got it-- that’s the pin. Makes sense, too, as yet another attempt to grift the public.

But my point is, they will always choose the group that incites the most fear and resentment in the population, while being the most tolerated. Hitler would have made the same choices as Trump, here and now.

Hitler’s propaganda machine tied Communism to Judaism. Trump’s ties Communism to BLM. If you told racists in America their wives weren’t safe from the Jewish population, most of them would look confused. You say that about immigrants and Black Americans, you key directly into their extant racism.

On the other hand, if he chose Judaism, less alert observers would more easily see Trumpism’s disturbing similarity to Nazism. It would also alienate the pro-Israel interests in the evangelical community. They can’t allow that.

As I said,

So, the absence of open antisemitism just outs them further for what they are. They aren’t any less biased against Jewish Americans, they are just avoiding the association with Nazism. They picked the people most “other” in the American mind, just like Hitler did in Germany.

I concede your point, and the very fact this is even under debate and that we are living in a world where this is completely plausible depressing as hell. (Even more depressing than Junior’s “daddy, I miss you!” comment last night.)

The eBay description for this pin says:

New design, just issued by the White House within the last 2 months. These pins are NOT sold internally to White House Staff, they are only given out as VIP gifts. VERY hard to obtain. Raised signatures of the President and First Lady on the reverse. Beware of fakes on ebay that show the signatures engraved into the back, the authentic pins have the signatures raised above the back of the pin as shown in my photos.

Yours for $15.99 with free shipping! So not exactly “Presidential Medal of Freedom” rare, I guess.

why do those pins even exist

To appropriate and subvert the symbols and trappings of power in order to claim them as their own to deepen their legitimacy and weaken the perceived legitimacy of their opponents. And because nobody is stopping them from doing so.
