At what point would we begin to detect a rise in hormones in our sewage from the ongoing rise in popularity of hormone therapies? This would likely have a significant affect on marine life.
Detecting hormones seems to be part of ongoing studies on sewage AND drinking water sources.

Side note, perhaps: This story is further evidence to me that we fool ourselves if we think that eating “wild” fish is any healthier (as in a certain kind of cleaner) for us than eating the chemical- and pollutant-laden fish raised by factory farms.
