My wife is a CPS investigator. She says she never worries about people who threaten her with death. We had a party the first time it happened. She always says, “it’s the ones who don’t threaten you that you have to watch out for.”

That kind of doesn’t make sense in light of the right wing troll who just shot up a mosque, but I can completely understand compartmentalizing worry in order to get on with life.
