It’s been over a year since the acquisition. Why file that late?
Is there a statute of limitations coming up soon?
The former executives claim their severance plans entitled them to one year’s salary plus unvested stock awards valued at the acquisition price of Twitter. Musk bought the company for $44 billion US, or $54.20 per share, taking control in October 2022.
Yeah, that has to be a chunk of change. Were they expecting Musk to come to his senses?
Not only is it a chunk of change, how long do they expect him to have that chunk of change with the way he’s been managing Twitter?
You know, it’s one thing to fire rank and file for no reason. But when you start firing executives within the legal department, you better have all your ducks in a row, because you aren’t going to get away with it with out a fight.
