Just fucking once I’d like to see an article like this also say, “lawyers for (_________) said they plan to file a lawsuit against the governor on first amendment grounds. Um, does that dumbass realize how difficult it is for non-drinkers to congregate in his state (from what I heard over the years from non drinkers there)? He just advertised that venue to every teetotaler in the country plus the state will lose income from the lack of license fees and liquor taxes. Plus left leaning activists in the south will intentionally pick that venue over others just to give him the finger.
All of that because he wanted to virtue signal to the puppy kicker party.

I’ve known and loved conservatives. I’ve watched conservatives get old and die. I’ve watched them feel remorse and confusion. I’ve watched them pray to God.
The only way people can overcome this kind of thinking is through sheer effort. All of us have to try. Because the people who get hurt by this are never the “right ones.”

This describes a couple of my friends. They tend to vote dem-soc in the US, because the Libertarian Party here is so obviously Fash-lite and the Greens are too woo-powered.
