Battle Ground, WA: A newly released autopsy report confirms that a sergeant found unconscious at his desk with a line of powder & a rolled paper straw, died of an unintentional overdose.
They found meth & fentanyl in his system, & the drugs found in his possession had been signed out for destruction by the sergeant from a bust earlier in the day.
The agency’s property & evidence procedures have since gone under an independent audit & they’ll be implementing changes based on the findings
