Former sheriff David Clarke has a Russian money problem

let’s hope it lasts for more than a day this time

I still can’t believe that Trump’s whole wouldn’t/would explanation was all it took to get him out of the doghouse

He’s not ‘out of the doghouse’; a reckoning is coming, methinks…

I meant specifically on Fox. When even fox (minus Hannity) was expressing displeasure about Trump siding with Putin over US intelligence, it felt like it could be a tipping point. Losing Fox would cripple Trump I think.

Do you think they’ll turn on him? I can’t tell if they’re so invested that they can never turn on Trump, or if there’s still something he can do that’s so bad that they have no choice

As long as Trump’s supporters (constituents of election-bound GOP) are convinced that their wedge issues (abortion, LGBT, immigration, etc.) are ‘fixed’ to their liking, they couldn’t give two shits about Russian manipulation.

Their name was mistranslated…it’s actually “Right to Arm Bears”.

I sense a trend.

Once the people in charge start to lose more money than they’re making, or it becomes a legal liability?

Most certainly.

Getting to that point is another matter…

As is recovering after that point, whatever it is, once we reach it. The fact that it has already gone so far is infuriating.

He should go to jail solely for growing that thing on his chin. The hell is that??

In case you hadn’t noticed, “right to bear arms” is a quotation from the Second Amendment.

In Russian it is “Право носить оружие” (Pravo nosit’ oruzhiye)…

In case you hadn’t noticed, I was implying that the name could be a double entendre. On the surface, it could be read as a reference to the 2nd Amendment, but since this is a Russian organization and the bear is a symbol for Russia… it could be read in a second, more clever and possibly nefarious way.

The fact that you can find a double entendre in English probably wasn’t very important to a Russian organisation. There is, of course, no pun in Russian.

In Russia, language puns you

Yes, I get the medals are way way over the top, but in all seriousness - on the pants too? You can’t even walk then!

In Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, medals wear you!
