They will NEVER turn on him. As far as Russia goes, who cares? He continues to give them everything they could ever want (activist judges, tax cuts for wealthy, budget cuts for "entitlements", environmental exploitation, abortion bans, religious "freedom"/pro-Christian, anti-immigrant, anti-LGBT, anti-minority, anti-female).

“Never” is a mighty long time and nothing is absolutely for certain.
Easy enough to say when one has a full stomach, in a first-world country where food-waste and rampant obesity go hand in hand (despite many underprivileged people being ‘food insecure’ simultaneously.)
It’s a whole different kettle of fish when one is actually motivated by real hunger, but there’s no food available on the grocer’s shelves, and it’s not possible to hunt or farm for one’s sustenance.
My fear is that it may have to get to that point before some people finally wake the fuck up… and by then, it will already be too late…
