Bloody Peasant!
This actually made me view this situation differently.
Words matter even if the president is incapable of understanding them. Maybe especially then.
This type of organized call and response to not just perception but ideological vector is good.
Strange women in lakes and handing out swords might in fact be a better system of government than the one we tend to see promoted on Fox News.
Hell naw, no to monarchies.
strange women in lakes and handing out swords
Goodness. You’ve got the video right there to help you with the correct wording.
I love the way the Fox newscaster stumbles over the words. It reminds me of these old generated speech cartoons
Well, I certainly hope CHAZ doesn’t sink into the swamp.
And I hope many of the occupiers remember the main reason they are there.
Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
I’ve seen some Fox News headlines on the Seattle autonomous zone pop up on google news, and I don’t have the intestinal fortitude to wade into that diarrhea. The nutso fear-mongering headlines themselves are enough.
Reminds me of when the Fox News regulars were claiming Occupy Wall Street camps were all really just “rape camps.”
Fox and the right were also obsessed with slandering Sweden, calling it a haven for rape, crime and terror because they were welcoming refugees from middle eastern nations. When i visited Sweden years ago a friend of mine warned me about going, like if i was going into a war torn nation. I went and did a ton of walking, never felt safer.
Now we see the violence inherent in the system!
It’s just too easy.
But it also shows that the area of overlap in the pop-cultural Venn diagram of the right and left is getting smaller by the day. Thing is, it’s the left side that generates anything that resembles culture.
With fox"news" it’s best to assume “on purpose but caught” in place of “confused” or “accidentally”. They are the realization of corporate Pravda after-all. By the bye, i’m shocked shocked you-all are still calling it “CHAZ”, it’s now the People’s Judea… er, "CHOP" or Capitol Hill Organized Protest. (really they should’ve been able to concoct a …UM for CHUM as befits a proud Pacific fishing port)
Capitol Hill is more of a historical salmon processing area than fishing port, so CHOP might be right on point.
No, no, monachies are a system where the executive office is determined by inheritance or at best one lord being elected by a bunch of other lords (possibly close to the US system if you replace the word lords with corporations).
Watery tarts handing out swords would be truly random because you would have to find the right lake in the first place and be there at the right time in order to receive your sword. I simply cannot imagine a fairer system than that.
Depends, can you include anything that grows on a Petri dish…?
Capitol Hill Unified Metropolis
We live in Southern CA. Good friends of ours are transplants from the midwest.
They have some family members who genuinely were concerned that marauding gangs were pouring across the boarder “and are you guys safe in your house?”
I guess it’s not that much different from when an earthquake happens 200 miles from us and my in-laws call to see if our house is still standing…
There have also been reports of Antifa brutally maiming law enforcement officers trying to prevent entry into the area. Sadly all that body armor was useless.
yep. uncle/aunt email from a few states over to (Seattlite) me two days ago: “Are you OK!? We’ve heard Seattle is being BURNED down!” etc, total twaddle, and nonsense. i begged them to stop watching the fox"news" crap …they won’t. sigh (egads, just look at this total zombie apocalypse center of lord of the flies today. chilling in’it?)
