The taco bells out here, some of them do not allow you to customize combo orders. So it’s possible that happened to him.

We are a long way way from the .49/.79/.99 days of Taco Bell pricing, sadly.

It was 59/79/99. That commercial jingle is burned into my memory. And yes, there was an alt.59.79.99 but it was never as active as alt.food.taco-bell.
