I am fine with it helping Tesla - infrastructure for charging large EVs is going to be critical for us moving to more sustainable transportation and shipping. But, Elon needs to stop pretending like he is doing everything all on his lonesome with no help…AND PAY HIS FUCKING TAXES

Since it’s about the government spending money on charging infrastructure (as opposed to directly giving money to Tesla), not much that can be done to avoid Tesla benefitting. This is exactly the kind of thing that the government should be doing, and we should be doing it using Elon’s tax dollars (which, if he paid them would cover the entire program with plenty left over)

I think it’s more likely that the F150 Lightening will eat both of their lunches. Announced & delivered on time. Though I’d rather see a Ranger model.

We’ll see. They seem to be having a good bit of trouble getting their factory down here off the ground. The locals are upset about possible environmental contamination and I think don’t they’ve broken ground yet.
