This kind of shit is exactly why the US needs a backup national launch system such as SLS (though probably not SLS in particular) instead of relying exclusively on commercial launch systems from companies run by inhuman oligarchs like Musk. Not sure I’m comfortable with our ability to put payloads into orbit being exclusively in the hands of a petty jackass whose sympathies lie with enemies of the US.
