Some more news about Teslas fuckery in Sweden.
Tesla has met with the union just to say that they do not want to sign a collective agreement. Today Transport, the large transport workers union that among others organise dock workers and truck drivers.
Tesla has also confirmed that it will use scabs to keep their workshops going. This continues to piss off even more unions. So now the Electricians union, the Association of Real Estate Employees and the independent Dockworkers union (a small non-confederated union) are joining with sympathy strikes against Tesla, and more unions are looking at where their workers are doing Tesla related work to see if they can join the blockade.

Escalating port conflict and notices from Fastighets and Elektrikerna. No electrical work will be carried out in Tesla’s workshops or at charging stations.
Today, Transport initiated a blockade on the loading and unloading of Tesla cars in the ports of Gothenburg, Trelleborg, Malmö, and Södertälje. The blockade is a show of sympathy for IF Metall, which has been attempting to negotiate a collective agreement with Tesla for several years and initiated a strike at Tesla’s workshops at the end of October.
Transport announced an expansion of their sympathy measures today.
“We have indications that they have ideas about trying in other ports and also with other types of roll-on-roll-off boats. That they have ideas about loading truck trailers onto such boats. In that case, we want to close it off and let the notice cover all Swedish ports so that they cannot switch ports,” said Tommy Wreeth, President of Transport.
He is in Södertälje port, where the blockade began at 12:00 today.
“There is a large car transport inside, and we have received information from the shipping company that it does not have Teslas on board for unloading in Sweden, so the blockade works perfectly. The shipping company simply does not load Teslas for unloading in a Swedish port because they know they won’t get them.”
If necessary, Transport will implement additional measures in the future.
“We will follow what Tesla does and, as far as possible, close off the ideas they have to try to bypass this.”

During a meeting between IF Metall and Tesla yesterday, the company made it clear that they do not want to sign an agreement. This leads IF Metall to plan further conflict measures and to seek help from more LO (Swedish Trade Union Confederation) unions.
Today, Fastighets announced a sympathy notice in the form of a blockade against all work carried out in Tesla’s premises in Huddinge, Segeltorp, Umeå, and Upplands Väsby. The sympathy measure will take effect on November 17 if Tesla has still not signed an agreement with IF Metall.
Elektrikerna (The Electricians’ Union) has also decided on sympathy measures. From November 15, members of Elektrikerna will not perform service or repair of electrical installations at Tesla’s 12 workshops or 213 charging stations in Sweden.
“It is obvious for Elektrikerna to support IF Metall by announcing sympathy measures to support IF Metall’s members at Tesla and preserve the Swedish model. Tesla must accept the rules of the Swedish labor market, and in Sweden, we operate with collective agreements,” said Elektrikernas’ chief negotiator, Mikael Pettersson, in a press release.
LO’s agreement secretary, Torbjörn Johansson, says that discussions are ongoing within LO unions, and many have said that they will show solidarity.
"But it’s important to find things that hit Tesla. We don’t want to involve other players in the conflict. You need to survey and do some checks, and that work is ongoing.
There won’t be any major strikes, rather pinpoint strikes or blockades that affect Tesla specifically.
“It’s Tesla’s workshops we can target, and things that Tesla is interested in or dependent on. We need to find things that make Tesla very uncomfortable in terms of breathing, eating, and living,” says Torbjörn Johansson.
Reports of Tesla trying to circumvent Transport’s current blockade will likely lead to more unions joining, believes Torbjörn Johansson.
"That’s how all employers did it in the past before we established an order for how the Swedish labor market should work.
"These are the kinds of things that make us angry, and it’s even easier to mobilize. But just because of that, you can’t start a fight in the town square, so to speak, it should be directed against Tesla.
Decisions on sympathy measures are not made by LO but by each individual union."

I can think of few cases in modern history where someone once as revered and respected as Elon Musk decided very intentionally to take that reputation, coat both himself and said reputation in high-proof gasoline, then light a match. But then again, we’ve always known that Elon Musk possesses a certain kind of generational talent.
So, here we are, a year later. The dog has caught the car. The monkey’s paw has curled. The dark and terrible energy that has always coursed through Twitter, right from its beginning, has now been transferred to him. He is eating its sins. He is not having any fun. Elon has ruined Twitter, yes. But he has also ruined his own life in the process, like a king in an ancient myth who grievously harms himself trying to kill a fly.
And the fly is a Twitter user named LigmaBalls69.
This is what Elon Musk deserves.

Yet again another door problem
A Tesla Model X in Hollywood, Florida, created its own Viking funeral last month after it slid into the ocean and caught fire at a boat launch.
The ɱoist self-immolation of the Tesla Model X occurred at the Polk Street Boat Ramp in Hollywood, Florida on October 1. The driver of the Model X had just backed a pair of jet skis into the water The Hollywood Professional Firefighters’ Facebook page posted video of the incident:
In this recounting, the driver received a warning to get out of the car, however the power doors wouldn’t allow her to exit the vehicle. Luckily, the driver’s husband came to the rescue before the Model X could simultaneously sink into the saltwater and go up in smoke. No one was injured in the incident.
