Why would one do that? He literally says what he thinks will get him paid and uses the credibility of his academic standing as currency. He has said this himself. He has no credibility, no standing. Any tame “intellectual” of capital is not an “intellectual”, merely a tool.

I’m sitting in a regional airport waiting for my flight. This is the first time I’ve flown since COVID came. American Airlines. Waiting at the same gate is a guy who already isn’t wearing his mask and is coughing. I’m actually more tense now than my first post-9/11 flight 3 weeks after the attack. <please don’t let him board please don’t let him board please don’t let him board>

been wondering this. international flights to the us are open if youve been vaccinated. but do you need vaccination to travel nationally? and don’t international flights intermix with national ones at airports and with second stops?
even vaccinated people can get sick. so who’s protecting them?

Here’s the CDC’s recommendations…but still, think about the ramifications of which states you fly out of or into as well. Flying into Los Angeles? Mask mandate for everything. Florida? It’s the new Wild West.

Considering how seriously the right takes pronouncements from Prager “Univ,” and the existence of Liberty Univ, that hope is probably in vain. We will move yet another step closer to parallel societies, with “fact based” vs “opinion based” replacing (or conflating with) red vs blue. Another way to make sure their kids stay safely within the bubble and never have to deal with those dastardly liberals.
