They only have a few stadiums up to the necessary standard. Hampden, Ibrox, Celtic Park. Maybe Murrayfield too, but that is a rugby union stadium. Everywhere else is too small.
There was talk of a Celtic nations bid at one point, but the FAI have major financial problems at the moment.

The FAI have major incompetence and corruption problems which are manifesting financially. They couldnāt even get the name of the country right from the very beginning.

Well I loved it most my life even if my team wasnāt there. Tonight though Iām sorry not sorry that Ireland denied Scotland a place in the World Cup next year.
Delighted a Donegal woman did it this week.
