Generic 2016 US Election Cycle Recycling Bin

I went off and did something for a half an hour and then refreshed 538: Clinton went from 72% chance to 51% in that time. WT-everloving-F?

No, it looks like it’ll be a long, slow, agonizing drawn death spiral. The numbers in the battleground states are all absolutely dismal.

Hmmm… I’m thinking, what was that Chinese dating site? The one where the women were already in wedding gowns?

If you know you aren’t being represented, feel free to join the secession train! If we can start a dozen or so new countries within US borders, things should start getting interesting. By association, not by geography!

But that will put your national capital in Arizona.

Speaking of fight club, Where is my Mind has become a decent theme for the night so far

Let’s hope it gets better from here

Current statement at 538:

Right now, Trump leads in both Michigan and Wisconsin. If those leads
hold, I don’t really see a path for Clinton to win. If, however, Clinton
wins those two states, she’ll be on track to win. If she loses one of
them, she still has a path that includes Arizona, where the race is
tight. Even if she does win either Michigan or Wisconsin, though, Trump
is the favorite.

Oh hey look I’ve got some Girl Scout Cookies here, and (gosh) is that a bottle of whiskey? And wouldn’t you know it, this is that DS9 episode where Warf, Whorf, Worf, werf, horff(?) is getting court-martialed for someshit AND THERE’S NO ELECTION GOING ON

For the first time in my life, I am afraid for my country. We can blame turnout, or the FBI, or the democrats, or the republicans … in the end, its us. We are to blame. And I’m embarrassed and ashamed and afraid and a bit lost here. I’m not some big democrat, but holy fuck we’re about to elect Donald fucking Trump. Is this real?

I had this wonderful plan of going to bed early, sleeping soundly and waking in a world where a woman could be president of the United States and hope triumphs over hate. Then I made the stupid mistake of taking a peak at the election results. Now I am feeling too ill and anxious to sleep. I feel we have fallen into some bizzaro land and I want to wake up and stop panicking about stupid people destroying my faith in the overall goodness of humanity. Come on, we are better than is, aren’t we?

About the same here. I went to sleep around noon and just woke up in the Upside Down. Looks like I picked a bad day to give up sniffing glue.

I could not imagine a modern GOP controlled Congress impeaching a Republican pres. If anything, this election shows just how little they care about anything besides their political party.

Exactamundo. We saw this when all those R’s climbed on the Trump train after considering his candidacy ridiculous.

To be fair to them, they backed a winning horse.

NYT is predicting a 93% chance of Trump win.

My.

You know, Michael Moore’s article from early in the season seemed silly with the polls reporting as they were, though now…
