Generic 2016 US Election Cycle Recycling Bin

I guess Trump’s feelings on the seriousness of mishandling classfied information are weakening.

Is this his backup idea for SoS? SecDef? Does he think Petraeus would get security clearance now?

I just got done reading about that.

The sheer level of cluelessness is utterly mind boggling.

NPR is doing a pretty good job of calling bullshit as bullshit:

I think it’s more of a last gasp thing than actually calling bullshit. My guess is that they have figured out that Trump is going to gut their funding when he takes office, no matter what they say, and this is them giving him the middle finger before they effectively disappear.

I cannot express how serious this is getting.

Trump has had 2 intelligence briefings since being elected, while Pence has had nearly daily meetings. Instead Trump is spending all of his time marketing how well of a job he is doing as POTUS and stirring the pot - all the while breaching US intelligence security left and right with his conflicts of interest and famous for-profit security leaks.

Again, if Trump is not looking to become a fascist in charge of the US he should attempt to do a single thing other than appear like he is going to become a fascist dictator. I swear the next thing he will do is invite Putin to Christmas dinner.

From the article:

“During a December 2015 segment of his show, The People’s Sheriff, on Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze radio network, Clarke suggested that any person who posts pro-terrorist sentiments on social media be arrested, deprived of the constitutional protection against unlawful imprisonment (known as habeas corpus), and sent to Guantanamo Bay indefinitely.”

I think perhaps I am going to leave it at that.

Then you may or may not find this useful:

Sorry to use so many gifs, but they sum it all up. And I don’t want to get bounced off the boards for using even worse language, which is likely to happen if I speak for myself on this one. I’m going to quit before I break into a humongous rant. I’ve already typed out and deleted two of them. And I work early tomorrow so I need to sleep soon. I think it’s enough to say that it’s getting more and more discouraging with each new pick. Heaven help us.

Meanwhile the Boston Globe is printing gushing praise of Steve Bannon today. They left out the part where he’s a white supremacist who leads the neo-Nazi movement in America.

I don’t know anything about Elaine Chao, but apparently she’s Mitch McConnell’s wife. Draining the swamp?

Seems to be pretty pro-China, too, at odds with what Trump says.
