I . . . I just . . .
But heās going to sign an order for Strong Borders!
After his long weekend following an exhausting first morning (sort of) on the job.
Presidenting is apparently a 9-5 job, now.
He still has angry tweets to write, and a real estate company heās pretending not to run to run.
9-12, apparently.
Just for context
Obama in '09 = 3000 charter bus permits.
Womenās March = 1200 permits.
Donny-No-Mates = 200 permits.
As truly awful as itās going to be for the country, I kind of canāt wait to watch Trumpās hyper-inflated ego get ground into a fine orange powder by the grist mill of witheringly negative public opinion over the next four years.
https://grabyourwallet.org/ flags companies that either sell Trump goods ā like clothing and accessories ā or have executives who have donated to Trumpās campaign or PACs that supported him.
Remember when all those people with economic anxiety accused Obama of being lazy day 1 of taking office?
Well, you know, āthose peopleāā¦
This is the superintelligence that Nick Bostrom was writing about, which strip-mines the entire universe just so it can build more widgets.
OK, Iāve never mentioned this before, but itās something that occurred to me about halfway through the campaign process and which has grown stronger every time I hear/read something like this: I think if he had understood the job well enough to realize that at some point very quickly, probably within the first few weeks, he would have to face news cameras without the full 2 hours (or whatever it takes) of hair primping, with the end result that everyone on the planet would get proof of his baldnessā¦he would have found a way to bow out of the race.
He does not realize this isnāt a TV show. He really doesnāt.
Thatās what the #MAGA hat is for! Which I full expect to see on his head every day.
Thanks for that. I will say that for me, a for-profit retailer selling a Trump/Ivanka brand as one of many brands doesnāt bother me as much as the ones where the company is openly supporting them financially/politically. Iām glad the website makes this distinction in their lists.
Iād hope that some of the people that criticised Obama note when Trump actually is playing golf on his first full day of work, but you know they wonāt.
Iām pretty sure that he just wants to be as far away from D.C. as possible when the Womenās March happens.
Heās going to have to avoid quite a few metropolitan areas, then!
