I knew he would have to make promises to appease the anti-abortion wing of the Republican Party. Iām hopeful that Trump will see that defunding Planned Parenthood is the kind of campaign promise he shouldnāt keep. I did not vote to send him to the White House to take away health care from people struggling to get by.
I was going to say something about being aware of what your candidate is promising to do before voting for them, but she was aware, and voted anyway, and just trusted him to have the good judgement not to follow through.

I think heāll ride out the full term. IMHO If he does get impeached it will either be because he pushes the Rs too far and they revolt or his first 2 years will be such a disaster that Congress will shift to the left in midterms.
